A].Following are code harmless so any one can use them :-

1. *#06# for checking the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity)
2. *#0000# shows the SW version. (e.g. V 5.27.0 / 28-06-04 / NHL-10 )
3. *#2820# - Get the Bluetooth (BT) device address
4. xx# - Quick contact access (xx = location number, e.g. : 17#)
5. *#92702689# - takes you to a secret menu with 6 choices
   1) show the serial nr.
   2) Shows when the cell phone was made mm/yy
   3) shows when the cell. Phone was purchased mm/yy
   4) shows how many times the cell. Phone has been repaired.
   5) Makes u capable of transferring user data if u have the gear for it
   6) shows how many hours the phone has been on

B].Following are some what harmful so use it carefully :-

1. When switching the phone on with the "ABC" key (pen) pressed, no application is started, it's a "safeboot".
2. *#3370# - Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation. It will automatically restart.
3. *#3370* - Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) deactivation. It will automatically restart.
4. *#4720# - Half Rate Codec activation. It will automatically restart
5. *#4720* - Half Rate Codec deactivation. It will automatically restart

Enhanced Full Rate will give you much better sound quality when you enable it. The new Enhanced Full Rate CODEC adopted by GSM uses the ASELP (Algebraic Code Excitation Linear Prediction) compression technology. This technology allows for much great voice quality in the same number of bits as the older Full Rate CODEC. The older technology was called LPC-RPE (Linear Prediction Coding with Regular Pulse Excitation). Both operate at 13 kilobits.(but you take up more space on the network, so they can charge you more) - Talk-time is reduced with about 5%

Half Rate will give you bad sound quality, which gives the service provider the opportunity to have more calls on the network, and you might get a lower charge from them. - Will give you 30% longer talk-time.

2. *#7780# - Reset to the original settings; some informations are also deleted and need to be re-entered.
3. *#7370# - Soft format - this will resets all the phone memory (like re-format a disk); make sure to have full battery charged !
4. [Green]+[def3]+[*+] during a power on performs a hard format : this will return the phone like you have received; make sure to have full battery charged !
